The Blizzard of '96

Day 2: Sunday Afternoon

On Sunday afternoon, the only movement outside was falling snow.

 

It was surprising just how many of us absolutely had to get some milk at CVS, the only place open.

 

SNOWBOUND - In the parking area at the Egyptian Embassy's Cultural & Educational Office across 20th Street from the Lauren, a lone van sat snowbound. The streets were buried and hushed.
