The Blizzard of '96

Day 5: Wednesday Afternoon.

Wednesday afternoon was quiet. We saw the pale glint of sunshine for the first time that week.

Flick's Restaurant (on the right with red stripes) like most businesses in downtown D.C. was still closed.



 		 
AFTERNOON - From the Lauren looking south on 20th Street toward the National Mall, tracks of tow trucks and 4-wheel drive vehicles can be seen.
