Summary World leaders from 20 countries will convene in Washington, DC Oct. 8-10 for the annual World Bank/IMF meeting. Most of the events will take place in the IMF and World Bank headquarters located in downtown Washington, DC. Security will be extremely tight at the venues. Street closures and detours may occur. Prepare for localized traffic and mass transit disruptions. A number of protests and opposition events will take place during the meeting.
