From: Alert DC TRAFFIC ADVISORY (Washington, DC) – The Metropolitan Police Department wishes to advise the public that there will be street closings in effect this weekend to facilitate a major event taking place in the District of Columbia. On Saturday, June 5, 2010, the Susan G. Komen 2010 Race for the Cure will be held and the necessary street closures will go in effect starting on Friday, June 4, 2010 with others closures starting on June 5, 2010. SUSAN G.
