SunTrust National Marathon

The only marathon held entirely within the boundaries of the District of Columbia, the fifth annual race will pass under Dupont Circle along Connecticut Avenue offering excellent viewing for enthusiasts. The course begins and ends at RFK stadium, passes many of the city’s historic monuments, is the fastest flat-looped marathon in the country and a Boston Marathon qualifying race. Many volunteer opportunities available.
