Pizzeria
Paradiso has moved its Dupont Circle pie place to roomier digs up
the block at 2003 P St. NW. The new space includes the restaurant's
signature, sunny sky-scape mural on the ceiling, exposed-brick and
mellow-yellow walls, and a handsome, recycled wood bar with 12 beer taps
and a hand pump for cask brews. A street side patio adds even more seats
(i.e. fewer waits?) although some old-timers may miss sitting on the
steps and chatting with strangers while queuing for a table.
[WEBMASTER NOTE: Pizzeria Paradiso is located two blocks from The Lauren, on the northwest corner of 20th and P streets where District Hardware Store and bike shop used to.] |
