At DCCA's last membership meeting before our summer break, Chairman Gray will speak about "A Shared Vision for High Performance," at¯ the Council's Capacity Building Strategic Plan, 2008-2010.
During the reception afterwards, we encourage you to meet Tom Goss, recently appointed Development Director for Charlie's Place. Tom is developing a proposal to support hiring an Outreach Worker who would serve our area exclusively, bringing the services of Charlie's Place to homeless persons. Tom is looking forward to hearing neighborhood views. We're also trying to help Dupont Circle Village--the new Aging-in-Place project supported by DCCA--locate quality pro bono legal services in establishing this fantastic project. Let us know if you may have contacts that could help, by emailing president@dupont-circle.org, or tell us in person Monday evening. The 2008 Dupont Circle House Tour needs you! Contact our House Tour Chair, Patty Friedman Marcus, at balibliss@yahoo.com or 202-489-5114. About DCCA The Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) was founded in 1922 to promote and protect the interests of the residents of the neighborhood. We still do that. Our area is a lively mix of homes, embassies, restaurants, shops, and galleries —and one of the city's most architecturally significant neighborhoods. These qualities are no accident. The unparalleled quality of living the neighborhood provides is the result of countless volunteer activities carried out by generations of Dupont Circle Citizens Association members. DCCA is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting interests of the residents of our neighborhoods. Dupont Circle Citizens Association P.O. Box 73616 Washington, 20056-3616 |
