DCCA's Annual Meeting

When: Monday, May 5, 2008, 7:30 pm

Where: St. Thomas’ Parish Church,
1772 Church Street, NW (the southeast corner of 18th Street, NW).

DCCA’s annual meeting is a members-only event at which DCCA officers report to the membership, and the membership elects officers and Directors. (Remember, you may join at the door.)

This year, attendees also will hear from community members who chair, spearhead, and are otherwise well-informed about the efforts of various DCCA committees and related projects. Please come and learn about the accomplishments and plans of these groups and how you can participate in upcoming efforts. Areas of interest include charitable giving and the homeless, education (local public schools), DCCA membership and meeting programs, public safety, the environment, zoning and licensing/regulation, the Dupont Circle House Tour, and Dupont Circle Village—Aging-in-Place.

About DCCA

The Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) was founded in 1922 to promote and protect the interests of the residents of the neighborhood. We still do that. Our area is a lively mix of homes, embassies, restaurants, shops, and galleries —and one of the city's most architecturally significant neighborhoods. These qualities are no accident. The unparalleled quality of living the neighborhood provides is the result of countless volunteer activities carried out by generations of Dupont Circle Citizens Association members. DCCA is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting interests of the residents of our neighborhoods.
