Community Input Sought For Fate Of West End Library |

There will be a "listening session" hosted by the
Mayor's Task Force on Libraries to discuss their recent draft report and
to solicit input from the community on the fate of the West End Branch
Library. The Task Force report proposes selling "air rights" and
other forms of development, and the library and adjacent police station
are under consideration by the City for redevelopment.
The session will be held this Wednesday, 2/22, at 6:30 p.m. at the West End Library, corner of L and 24th St. N.W. |
