There will be at least 39 exhibitors in 45 booths. They will be selling everything from jewelry to paintings to pottery. The festival is from 10 am to 4 pm on 22nd Street, NW between P and Q. The southbound lanes of 22nd Street will be closed to traffic for the festival. Crafts not your thing? Then stop by to check out:The Tower Tour:The church bell tower will be open to those who are not afraid of heights or tight spaces. It has a great view of Dupont Circle, Georgetown and Rock Creek Park. The tower will be open from noon to 4:00. The DanceSport Extravaganza:A local dance instructor will be hosting ballroom dancing from noon to 4:00. Everyone from beginners to experts is invited, as are singles and same-sex couples. Mini lessons will be given every half hour, followed by open dancing. There is no entrance fee. Pet Adoption Day:Get a new friend! The Humane Society will be there from noon until 3 pm with dogs available for adoption. If you have been thinking about getting a dog, now is your chance. The weather forecast is looking good. Grab some friends and come on over.
