Friends and former constituents,

Below is an email from Ramona Burns, the new Ward 2 Transportation Planner, who will play the lead DDOT role in the long-awaited P Street Streetscape Improvement Project. The project began in the planning stages several years ago.

While I miss living in the immediate Dupont Circle area, I am only a few block away in the West End. Karyn Siobhan Robinson is your new ANC Commissioner for 2B02. Karyn will be a wonderful advocate for your concerns and a great member of the ANC. I'll be working with Karyn as the P Street Streetscape Project planning commences again to make sure that DDOT stays the course and that our prior efforts are incorporated into the next phase of planning.

Karyn has asked for my email list so that she may be in touch with you with periodic ANC updates. Please let me know if you have any objections to my passing along your email address to Karyn.

Hi Vince,

I am writing to invite you the first full community review of proposed designs for the P St. Street Scape project. This purpose of this meeting will be to review Jeff Lee's initial concept designs to determine if they match the community's vision for P street. Jeff Lee will use the comments generated at this meeting to further refine his drawings to ensure that we get a good product that the whole community will endorse.

The meeting will be held on July 21 at 6:30 at the Barcello Hotel. Please invite anyone you think my be interested.
