3D Citizens Advisory Council (CAC)

An invitation is extended to all residents and business owners within the boundaries of the Third Police District to become a member of the 3D Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) and help to revitalize the 3D CAC by joining.

A membership form is attached. People will need to be paid members by this coming meeting to be able to vote in January. We'd really love to have more voting members. Membership dues are $5.00. (For senior citizens, membership dues are $3.00.)

The objective of the CAC is to assist and advise the Commanding Officer in promoting increased public safety in the District by adhering to established police standards of service and efficiency through improved community relations, awareness and cooperation between citizens and the Metropolitan Police Department.

If you are interested in learning more about or possibly serving on the Third District CAC, please attend the next CAC meeting on Thursday, June 26, 2003, at 7:30 PM, in the Snyder Community Room at Third District HQ at 1620 V St., NW.
