Many have previously expressed interest in replacing your
unit's windows.
We are now ready to start accepting orders.
If you still desire to replace your windows please
follow this process outlined below:
1. Complete and return the attached
contract.
2. Include a check for the full amount of the
purchase. Checks should be made out to "The Lauren, A
Condominium". Checks are the only method of payment that will be
accepted.
3. Deadline for receipt of contract and checks is
JUNE
15, 2016.
Since the initial announcement of this program came
out there has been one significant clarification on the replacement
process. It has to do with window treatments (blinds, curtains, shades,
draperies etc.) that exist. Advanced Window (who is actually replacing
the windows) notes that the below is not part of their scope of work.
Please note the following:
1. Any existing window treatments will have to be
removed prior to the removal of old windows.
2. You have the option of doing so yourself or hiring
an outside firm to assist. Advanced Window has recommended:

3. Advanced Windows has advised that reattaching
treatments directly to windows would void the warranty as it relates to
the attachment if a problem occurred on the window that could be
associated to the treatment attachment. Examples of possible problems
include operability of the window, leakage at the head of the window and
longevity of the window.
4. They strongly recommend that window treatments be
attached to the concrete ceiling
As a reminder the bulk rate costs (30 windows required
from the entire building) are $1,150 for a small two panel window;
$1,550 for a large two panel window (found in the "14",
"15", "16" tiers and in the living room of the
"02" tier); and $ 1,750 for a three panel window. That pricing
includes tax.
